Thank You, God.
You know how it feels when you don’t expect something, but it suddenly gives you a surprise by popping up in front of you?
That’s what happened to me today.
Mr. Tan apparently consolidated all our mid year results, and calculated our L1R5 and stuff. So he showed us during recess.
Naturally, everyone ran to him, like kids running to a candy store. I’m no exception.
You see, he arranged the class ranking, in order of results, which means the ones with the better marks are on top, and the ones below, are the, erm. You get the point. Well, as soon as I got the list, I looked towards the bottom of the list, where I had expected my name to be. I mean, not really all the way at the bottom, but maybe lingering around the 35th to 25th position.
But no.
Guess where I was.
4th position.
No. It’s not because I studied. Truth be told, I didn’t really study for mid years, and those who are closer to me can tell you that I was panicking a week before Mid years.
Yes. It’s God. I don’t want to sound preachy, but I know it’s not me.
So yes. I’m a Christian, and I’m proud.
Before I forget, Happy Birthday, Ray.
